1. Do you offer guided trips? 
   
   Yes, privately and as part of a group.  Prices will vary depending on private or group, the number of divers and the destination.  Contact Jeff for more details.
   
   
2. What if I began my education through a different certification agency? 
   
   No problem.  Most recognized certification agencies’ classes have PADI equivalents and will count towards prerequisites for continuing education.
   
   
3. Can my education be private? 
   
   Yes.  Packages include group, semi-private and private classes.
   
   
4. Can I purchase the gear you use? 
   
   Yes.  Items can be purchased through me directly or through the dive center.  All orders will be processed through Gigglin’ Marlin.
   
   
5. Do I need my own gear to take a class? 
   
   No.  You are only required to purchase a mask, fins, booties, snorkel and a weight belt.  All life support gear will be provided as a free rental for the class along with tanks.
   
   
6. Where will my education take place? 
   
   Unless you purchase a class/trip package, classroom, pool and open water will be in Houston and the Houston area.  Class/trip packages will consist of classroom and pool in Houston, and open water checkout dives at your destination. 
   
   
7. Can I take classes and trips through you with rock stars? 
   
   Depends on the particular musician.  When the musician(s) permit, classes/trips will be announced on this site well in advance along with the pricing.
   
   
8. Can anyone learn to dive? 
   
   Yes, provided they don’t have a physical condition that prevents it.
   
   
9. What if I have difficulty? 
   
   I’ll get you through it if you really want to learn.  If not, you will forfeit your class fee and any trip package if you decide not to go on the trip.  Required books and equipment are non-returnable.  Unfortunately, they can’t be reused and class time is booked around the participant(s).
   
   
10. Can you teach classes at our location? 
    
    Yes, provided you have the facilities we need.  Cost is increased.  Contact Jeff for details with the nature of your request.
    
    
11. Can you teach children? 
    
    Yes, within PADI standards.  They must be at least 10 and not all classes can be taught to all children depending on their age.
    
    
12. Will you lead trips for me or my group? 
    
    Yes.  And the travel can be arranged through the dive center for you.
    
    
13. Can you service my gear? 
    
    Yes.  The dive center can service nearly all equipment.
    
    
14. Can you provide technical training? 
    
    Yes, through on staff and affiliated instructors.
    
    
15. Can I purchase my required educational materials and gear through you? 
    
    Yes.  In fact, it’s required to ensure you have the proper materials and equipment.
    
    
16. Can I become an instructor through you? 
    
    Yes.  Gigglin’ Marlin is a PADI 5-Star IDC Training Center and we run multiple Instructor Development Courses throughout the year.  See www.gigglinmarlin.com for dates/rates.
